How do the fees work for assisted living? Is there a move-in or entrance fee?

There are two options to move into assisted living at Aberdeen Ridge. First, independent living residents can take advantage of our Unique Health Care Benefit. When you move into our independent living neighborhood, you pay an entrance fee, which gives you guaranteed access to our assisted living community at a fixed, affordable monthly rate should your health needs ever change. Our assisted living community is also open for direct admission. With this option, you pay a monthly fee determined by floor plan and the level of services needed.

What types of senior care are included in assisted living?

Our assisted living community offers all the community services and amenities available at Aberdeen Ridge, as well as a range of health services to give you the extra day-to-day care you may need. Services include help with the tasks of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming), transportation to medical appointments, medication management, licensed nurses and a wealth of activities to ensure every day is rich and meaningful.

Are there transportation services available to assisted living residents?

Yes, scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments, cultural outings and more.

What are the housing accommodations like for assisted living at Aberdeen Ridge?

All assisted living residents enjoy private apartments ranging from one bedroom and 543 square feet to two bedrooms and 791 square feet. Apartments include features such as wide doorways for wheelchair access, shower handles to prevent falls and emergency call buttons.
